MagisThe Veneto-based company is renowned at an international level for its catalogue of products created by the most famous designers of the world. An exclusive Made in Italy brand that began its activity in 1976, thanks to the entrepreneur Eugenio Perazza. From that moment Magis has always marked its accessories with a unique and unparalleled style. A pillar of Italian design, winner of countless awards and recognitions. Stools, sofas, chaises longues, tables, bookcases, dressers and various accessories are only part of the collections designed for a modern and trendy interior design. There are also decorative outdoor accessories for both public and private spaces, to transform terraces and gardens into versatile locations. Do not forget the children's section, where imagination meets functionality. The constant experimentation and the search for new horizons are some of the elements that have ensured Magis's undisputed success. Each collection includes creative products designed to review daily habits, renewing the decor of your home, in all its aspects. The Italian brand is unquestionably part of the design history of the last decades; so much so that its collections are exhibited in many contemporary museums, such as the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London or the MoMA in New York. The innumerable and fruitful collaborations have turned Magis into a guarantee of quality and ever-changing innovation. Like the products designed by Starck Phlippe, creations that became trendy furniture icons. The French architect realized for Magis the Zartan chairs collection, to be chosen in the different versions available; and the S.S.S.S. Sweet Stainless Steel Stool, designed in collaboration with Luigi Barei. The structure is completely in stainless steel and the height is adjustable, thanks to the presence of a gas piston. Phlippe Starck experiments through the Chien Savant, by playing with shapes and lines, creating a desk for children with a polyethylene chair printed using the technique called rotational molding. The bunk bed Bunky, the original Rock doorstop or the plate rack Dish Doctor are some of the items made by the renowned Australian designer Marc Newson. Magis's products catalogue includes also several accessories made by Naoto Fukasawa, whose work is characterized by the combination of innovative shapes and the typical values associated with a specific object in its essential functions. So come the extension tables of the Daja-vu line, with a structure in polished extruded aluminum, while the horizontal shelf is in HPL. The bookcase module with open shelves Cosino can be modular, stackable and combinable, adding a touch of dynamism to the living environment in which it is incorporated.Complements that define space in a versatile way, with new decorative concepts. Like the production by Stefano Giovannoni for Magis, that offers simple, linear geometries, declined in the Paso Doble collection that includes chairs, stools, chaises longues and armchairs. Or the originality of the Boogie Woogie module bookcase that breaks the space, with smooth undulating shapes. The Italian architect's creations do not only include furnishings, but they reinterpret everyday objects in an ironic and modern way. For example, the broom Maga in polypropylene and glass fiber with polyester bristles, equipped with spare parts and a hook for hanging it to the wall. Enzo Mari, three times winner of the Compasso d'Oro award, designed for Magis the umbrella Erechtheion, recalling the classical art of ancient Greece but revisited through the use of innovative materials, such as injection molded polypropylene fiber. The traditional static nature of the silent servant revives thanks to Pronto, the hanger equipped with a handy storage compartment. Space management becomes protagonist of living furnishing with Dove, the basket made of glossy printed SAN, stackable and available with small wheels, designed by the eclectic Andries & Hiroko Van Onck.Magis always monitors every stage of the production, directly in its facilities. The choice of innovative materials is combined with the creativity that influences all the Italian company's choices. A winning philosophy that has led to several international awards, such as the children's chair Trioli by Eero Aarnio, which won the Compasso d'Oro Award in 2008. A modular and versatile element that offers three different possibilities of use and is also suitable for outdoors. It is polyethylene processed through rotational molding, available in four colours. Trioli is included in the kids' collection Me Too, with its specific lines of products designed to offer a new furnishing concept for the bedrooms of children and teenagers. Magis received the renowned prize in 2011 thanks to its Steelwood Chair, designed by Ronan & Erwan Bourollec. The chair with armrests combines the natural beauty of solid beech wood or American walnut, with painted polyester or galvanized steel sheet. Declined in different versions, the collection offers vivid colours and two-colours variants that are elegant and sophisticated. In 2014 Magis won another Compasso D'Oro with the rotating chair Spun. An original and eclectic chair signed by Thomas Heatherwick. The inspiration is captured by the forms of the classic spinning top and transformed into a comfortable and mobile seat. Its round shapes are enhanced by the use of polyethylene as a material, making this product perfect for furnishing outdoor spaces. In addition, to increase Spun's bold design, it is available in four different colours.
