Carlo Cumini
Carlo Cumini was born in Gemona del Friuli in 1953 where he still works professionally. He completed his technical studies at the Marinoni Institute in Udine in 1974 and began working in the family business as a salesman and designer of home furnishings. From 1979 to 1984 he designed individual pieces of furniture that became serial for the Cumini company since 1985 and for Horm since its foundation in 1989. In 1993 he began to approach outdoor furniture and took part in the realization of some products of the "stone garden" and for the "marble laboratory". In 1995 he began his collaboration with Alberto Freschi, entrepreneur of Conegliano and with Carlo Bancolini who lives and works in Marrakech. In 2000 he designed and produced furniture for the Museum of Modern Art in Caracas.
