Piero Russi
Piero Russi graduates in Architecture at the University of Florence in 1983, and the following year he starts his cooperation with Architect Gae Aulenti’s design studio. There, for over ten years, he focuses on design and making of major architectural projects, including the Palazzo Grassi Museum in Venice, the Auditorium, Library and College of Città Studi in Biella, the Temporary Gallery at Triennale in Milan. In 1997 he opens his own studio in Milan, focusing on architecture and industrial design, working for private and corporate clients. His long lasting partnership with FontanaArte involves him curating and overseeing showrooms and fair stands for the company. In 2009-2010 he designed the Chignon lamp family for FontanaArte.
