Tim Derhaag
Tim Derhaag was born in1974 intheNetherlands. He graduates BA at ArtEZ Arnhem (1997) & MA at the Royal College of Art London (1999). He receives his first project through Jasper Morrison to design a cocktailbar in London (1999). In 2001 he moves toAmsterdamto open Tim Derhaag Design Studio. He works on concepts, interior designs and products for a variety of clients. Tim Derhaag meets FLOS in Bovezzo in the summer of 2002 and the 45 outdoor lighting collection is presented inMilanin 2004. He was nominated for the Compasso D’Oro in 2008. In 2009 he presents the Fool Moon lamp during Euroluce in Milan. He designs Townhouse Hotel Maastricht in 2009, that wins ‘Best New Hotel Concept’ (2009) and Dutch Hotel Award (2011).
