Ruelle is a stackable chair up to 4 units, designed by Philippe Tabet for Infiniti Design. Made of aluminum, with a sinuous backrest in oak plywood, Ruelle is an intelligent reinterpretation of a classic seat, created by intervening on the proportions of the components and on the contrast between materials, linking the modernity and lightness of aluminum with the naturalness and solidity of wood. In the small alleys of French country villages ("ruelle", in fact) it is typical to sit in the classic bistro and brasserie chairs, which Philippe Tabet has reworked in a modern key with a very elegant seat. Initially conceived for public places such as bars and restaurants, Ruelle fits perfectly into both minimal and chic domestic contexts, or warmer and vintage ones, thanks to the perfect mix between tradition and modernity.
